Data Acquisition (DAQ) & Control

The five major categories of Data Acquisition and Control are PC/104, PCI-bus, ISA-bus, USB-based and CompactPCI. The USB-4700 series USB modules are truly plug and play and the PC/104 communications boards include Ethernet, RS-232 or RS-422/485 ports. PCI cards are available in Analog I/O, Isolated and Non-Isolated Digital I/O, Multifunction, Counter and GPIB, while the ISA cards support Analog I/O, Isolated and Non-Isolated Digital I/O, Multifunction and Counter. Other products available for DAQ are Signal Conditioning Modules, Isolated Digital I/O Terminals, I/O Wiring Terminal Boards and I/O Wiring Cable.

CompactPCI solutions are the most reliable PC-based computing platforms for mission-critical applications, providing Pentium 4-grade CPU modules, 8-slot chassis, high-speed I/O and serial communication modules. Advantech's DAQ line also includes a PEC-3700 series Integrated I/O Controller, which is used to integrate data acquisition functionalities such as analog input/output, digital input/output and counters into a single compact controller.
