Point of Sale (POS) systems are based on a modular design and include the hardware and software required to get you started. In addition to the application software and PC, they include an LCD display (with or without touch screen) and may include a keyboard/mouse, cash drawer, credit card reader (MSR), barcode scanner and receipt printer. Options include pole displays, organization caddies, extended warranties and barcode printers for printing tags and adhesive labels. POS application software offerings may also include web based training and service contacts.
