Remote I/O Modules

Advantech offers complete stand-alone data acquisition modules which are broadly used in industrial applications, such as facility monitoring, environment monitoring and industrial process control. Advantech distributed I/O modules are categorized into two families; Ethernet I/O (ADAM-6000 series) and RS-485 I/O (ADAM-4000 series), which are subdivided into Analog I/O and Digital I/O modules with some of them supporting modbus communication protocol.

The ADAM-4000 series is a great solution due to its simple wiring, which utilizes only two wires to communicate with their controller or other RS-485 devices. Ethernet I/O ADAM-6000 Modules include Communication Controllers, Analog I/O Modules and Digital I/O Modules to integrate automation and enterprise systems by remotely monitoring the device status and utilizing its graphic utility for system configurations. Lastly, theADAM-2000 Wireless I/O Modules are integrated with wireless functionality, power management and I/O technologies. This enables networks to be easily deployed and extended. It also enables the ADAM-2000 to act as a stand-alone device, which is extremely cost-effective.
