Advantech ADAM-4510 Series Communication Module

The ADAM-4510/4510S repeater simply amplifies, or boosts, existing RS-485 signals, extending their range by an additional 4000 feet. Circuitry in the ADAM-4510/4510S automatically senses the direction of data flow, dispensing with handshaking requirements in the network and reducing the cabling requirements in an RS-485 network to just two wires. Transmission speeds up to 115.2 Kbps are possible.
